- Works closely with Assistant Controller in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Perform multiple bank reconciliations.
- Perform and review monthly account reconciliations in various areas including balance sheet analysis, fixed assets and intercompany allocations.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls by working with other team members in order to standardize and document best practices and procedures.
- Assist in monthly closing process
- Vendor creation and annual 1099 filings.
- Assisting with the annual audit.
- Special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
- Bachelors in Accounting required
- CPA or CPA in progress preferred
- 2+ years in a full cycle accounting role, including closing procedures
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Strong systems skills: ERP system, Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps at minimum required)
