For our client, an international pharmaceutical company based in the Anchorage, KY area, we are currently seeking a: Communication Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic marketing communication plans in collaboration with the respective marketing teams, including success and budget control
Plan, implement and manage communication campaigns and projects
Network and build relationships with press contacts and respond to press inquiries
Measure campaign success and evaluate activities
Create tracking analyses using appropriate tools
Participate in crossdepartmental meetings
Implement tracking standards and conduct qualitative and quantitative evaluations of activities to measure campaign success in collaboration with internal and external partners
Manage budget to achieve profit goals
Attend regular department and team meetings, both within Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability and with the teams of the supported business unit, with the goal of optimizing the activities of the Communication Team to achieve objectives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, marketing or related fields
Previous experience in a communication department of a company, ideally in the life science sector, or in an advertising/communication agency with a focus on the life science sector
Strong social skills and team orientation
Creativity, high level of initiative, interest in new communication tools
Strategic thinking and conceptual strength
Assertiveness, professional demeanor, coordination and organizational skills in dealing with internal and external partners
Understanding of communication for prescription drugs
Indepth knowledge of
