The Role


As the
Squad Leader, Defined Benefits Data Analytics,** you blend deep domain, technology, and data expertise with a passion for delivering results.

You are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering on business and technology priorities.

As a continuous learner, you are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.


  • In an agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, build roadmaps, and resource requirements, set and refine the mission, and lead a team of chapter members to design and develop specific product features.
  • You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success.
  • You will ensure alignment on the "what" and "when" work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog.

The Expertise and Skills You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of industry experience demonstrating increasing levels of leadership
  • Prior financial services experience, preferred
  • Strong domain knowledge of the Defined Benefits business, data process flows and recordkeeping processes
  • Proven experience as an outspoken leader working to deliver high quality data solutions
  • SQL skills and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms (a plus)
  • Prior Agile experience preferred
  • Prior Jira and Jira Align experience preferred

The Workplace Investing Data Advanced Analytics Platform product area is seeking a Squad Leader to focus on consolidating Defined Benefits data and WI data with an intuitive & flexible design for ease of consumption.
