- Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
- Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards.
- Reviews safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
- Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
- Inspect safety equipment; recommends replacements.
- Review accidents and incidents reported by employees.
- Updates field supervisor with employee safety infractions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve the company's safety programs continuously.
- Visit crew workstations throughout the day to ensure compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify unsafe situations or potentially unsafe situations.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety laws.
- Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift 25lbs and climb up and down a ladder safely.
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Committed to a minimum of 40-hour work weeks.
- Ability to work in and around restricted/ confined spaces
- Minimum OSHA 30 required
