    Job Description

    Position Summary
    The Systems Engineer oversees compressor system packaging projects from customer purchase order to system commissioning, meeting deadlines and budgets.

    Essential Position Functions and Duties

    • Review proposal documents and project specifications for system design implementation.
    • Maintain communication with vendors, project disciplines, and management to meet project requirements.
    • Create and update project documentation, submitting to customers and internal departments as per schedule.
    • Size equipment to project design conditions and standards.
    • Coordinate design reviews to ensure system quality.
    • Procure equipment using EPICOR ERP system to meet manufacturing schedule and budget.
    • Provide weekly reports via Microsoft Teams.
    • Support production and Quality Control in manufacturing and inspections.
    • Offer technical support during system commissioning and troubleshoot during the project warranty period.
    • Contribute to company standards, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Required Qualifications and Competencies

    1. B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    2. 1-3 years of engineering experience or oil and gas industry experience (preferred).

    Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
    1. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
    2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
    3. Takes ownership of projects.
    4. Proficient in problem-solving.
    5. Familiarity with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, specifically 619 and 614.
    6. Excellent technical writing abilities.
    7. Solid understanding of engineering principles.
    8. Knowledge of rotating machinery auxiliary equipment.
    9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
