Summary:
TrendsetterRentals & Services utilizes Multiplexed Electro-Hydraulic (MUX) ControlsSystems for control of subseawellintervention systems.
The ControlsEngineer is responsible for ensuring stakeholder satisfaction andcompliance with industry standards throughoversight on the design and development of new controls systemsand maintaining the readiness and operablestatus of legacy controls systems.
Theposition requires cross-functionalcollaboration to interface and integrate the controls equipment onto clientvessels. The candidate mustdemonstrateexcellent process and project management skills to function effectively withclients, peers, and cross-functionalteams.This positionwill be based from the Trendsetter office located in Houston, TX, but requiresoccasional travel insupportoffieldoperations.

POSITIONDUTIES:

Ensure the controls systemsdesigns are compliant with stakeholder expectations and defining industrystandards.
·
ManagedepartmentcontrolsdocumentationandassignedMDRs.
·
Create,review,andapproveschematics/drawings,procedures,andspecifications.
·
ManagetheHMIandmimicsforasset/defaultsystemconfigurationsandcustomclientrequests.
·
Monitor and perform holdpoint inspections on all builds and reworks of equipment to ensure that thequality iscompliant with IPCClass3requirements.
·
Designandmaintaincontrolstestequipment.
·
Supportsitereceivalinspectionsonelectricalcablesandequipment.
·
Analyzenewandexistingdesignsforreliability,serviceability,maintenance,andhandling.
·
Recommend improvements toproduction engineering on equipment design, test procedures, anddocumentation requirements.
·
DevelopproceduresandtrainservicepersonnelontheuseofsystemcontrolsHMIs.
·
Interfacewiththirdpartydepartmentsandvendorstoensureallprojectdeliverablesaremet.
·
Performengineeringdutiesatcustomersites,oroffshorewhenrequired.
·

Qualifications:
o
ElectricalEngineeringDegreefromanEAC/ABETaccreditedprogram.
