- Upholds sales goals and targets and manages a strategic book of business of large, complex accounts within a specialization targeted at growth and penetration.
- Strategizes account expansion initiatives, directing and conducting thorough research through various channels of information and targeting specific accounts leveraging a large professional network to proactively generate growth within an area of specialization.
- Represents the business for large, complex, high-risk and high-yield accounts within a specialization and thoroughly addresses all RFPs, develops sales presentations and formal sales proposals for related accounts.
- Oversees the sales process for complex, high-risk, high-yield accounts and works to ensure account satisfaction along all phases of the sales process while negotiating outcomes that create value for the account and the business.
- Evaluates the book of business, leverages internal contacts, internal product developments and market developments to identify areas of opportunity and expansion for existing accounts.
- Global exposure and experience in a top-notch Total Rewards environment that works closely with each of our Operating Companies (i.e. Mercer, Guy Carpenter, Oliver Wyman) within Marsh & McLennan Companies to leverage best practices.

- Accountable for account relationship and business satisfaction ensuring overall service needs are met and attentively addresses concerns or requests to best serve the account and all account needs.
- Serves as a recognized figure and resource within a specialization with proven credibility, and acts as the chief point of contact for key stakeholders from existing or former accounts to ensure professional relationships are upheld and nourished.
- Organizes, attends, speaks and presents at relevant industry conferences, prepares and presents feasibility studies and is a prominent, contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, gain exposure and represent the Company and its offerings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of related sales experience of commercial P&C insurance coverage in a risk management or brokerage capacity.
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- CPCU, ARM or other insurance designations a plus.
- Strong presentation and sales skills.
- Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
