    Rex's technology initiatives empower working people underserved by tech. The products help small business owners, property managers, and vendors make payments, find insurance, route work efficiently, and more.

    Attributes Of An Ideal Candidate / What You'll Do In This Role
    • 5+yrs proven results. 2+yrs B2B. Entrepreneurial marketer, catalyzing growth. Killer mentality to "make cash register ring". Extremely clever, self-directed, initiative taker.
    • Leads customer journey: initial awareness, front-end conversion, long-term ascension. Multi-channel nurturing. Hands-on solo-operator, teaming to hit sales targets.
    • Strong writer, creating content/sales copy; editing without oversight. Executes high-converting email, ad copy, landing page copy, order forms, upsells, etc.
    • Data/metrics driven with expertise in A/B and multivariate experimentation, LTV modeling, and CAC optimization. Proficiency in CRM (e.g. Salesforce). Track/optimize web campaigns with tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics. Financial modeling with Excel skills. Bonus: SQL, Python, Looker, PowerBI.
    • Drive SEO strategy, producing high-quality content across various channels (e.g. websites, blogs, email campaigns) to engage/convert while improving organic search.
    • Expert with landing page builders like Leadpages, Elementor, and Unbounce (Bonus: skilled in end-to-end marketing tools Clickfunnels, Kartra, or Infusionsoft/Keap)
    • Versed in Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Google platforms: maximize paid campaigns and organically grow a following.
    • Lead comprehensive brand publicity strategies to enhance visibility and recognition.
    • Execute outside box approaches to growth, including text messaging, email marketing, cold-calling. Prove/ scale offline channels, e.g. direct mail.
    • Familiar with no/low-code tools like Zapier; obsesses over automations to boost productivity.
    • Bonus: strong design background, creates beautiful websites, CSS/HTML chops.
    Compensation & Requirements
    • Compensation commensurate with skill set with a bias toward equity to ensure shareholder alignment, hunger, and "skin in game".
    • Realize life's short; determined to make biggest impact.
    • Work from home, living locally in Austin (within 30 miles of downtown) for community purposes. Open to remote on an exception basis.
    • You understand entrepreneurship is no game for the thin-skinned. The book, "Hard Thing About Hard Things," describes a leader vomiting from stress/anxiety. Hard, smart, long work is the norm. No guts, no glory. No pain, no gain. All in, or out.
