THE POSITION:

If so, Columbia-Montour-Snyder-Union (CMSU) County has the perfect opportunity for you We are in search of a Fiscal Technician to assist the County Fiscal Officer with maintaining accounting activities for our four-county behavioral health facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
In this role, you will focus on assisting the County Fiscal Officer with maintaining invoices, employee expense reports, general ledger and coding, accounts payable checks, financial reporting, budgets, analysis reports, as well as various monthly and quarterly reports.
Work includes reviewing, posting, and processing a variety of financial and audit documents; setting up, maintaining, and monitoring files for tracking fixed assets; providing annual reports to the fiscal officer; entering accounts payable invoices into a computer program; verifying information; and posting and monitoring printing of checks and reports.
You will have the opportunity to assist employees with information on all insurances, pay issues, and time off requests, as well as explain the payroll process and attendance policies.
On day one of employment, CMSU's employees begin earning paid vacation and sick time. In addition to vacation and sick time, CMSU provides four (4) personal days per year and 15 paid holidays. CMSU also provides health, dental, and vision insurance to its staff. Tuition reimbursement for graduate and undergraduate courses both in-person or on-line is also available. CMSU staff also qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday
- Friday, with a 30minute lunch.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
