    Description


    Our client is a start-up tech company backed by a large conglomerate who provide digital services to leading companies globally.

    They are now looking for a Senior Solutions Architect in this independent and 100% remote role with some travel, as they are establishing themselves into the US market.

    You would leverage the offshore teams, but as the first US hire in this space you would need to be comfortable assessing clients' tech needs, identifying system gaps, and developing enhanced software and hardware solutions that align seamlessly with existing systems.

    You would also ensure regulatory compliance, plan projects, and prioritize efficiency and quality in design and network optimization.

    In this crucial role, you would also support the pioneering senior Sales team with Pre-Sales engagements to provide end to end analysis and design and delivery of IT solutions that benefit the customer and sales effort.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop a strong understanding of the interplay of various business model components, encompassing operating systems and application structures.
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess their needs and translate them into technical specs and system blueprints.
    Engineer high-quality system architectures for both off-the-shelf and custom applications.
    Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.
    Establish and enforce best practices for system design, development, and deployment.
    Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in system architecture and software development.
    Assure that all solutions meet performance, scalability, and security criteria.
    Provide technical guidance to clients and nurture ongoing client relationships.
    Furnish prompt customer feedback to the production department to align product development with client requirements.
    Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specs, and implementation plans.
    Coach and educate junior team members to enhance their technical proficiency and expertise.

    QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent10+ years of experience in system architecture and software development, across both custom and commercial applicationsStrong experience in system architecture, design, and development.

    Strong understanding of with modern software development technologies, including microservices, cloud-based architectures, and DevOps.
    Must have strong business acumen and an excellent understanding of business operations.
    Strong problem-solving skills and excellent analytics skillsExcellent communicationsExperience working with agile methodsExcellent command in English in both writing and verbal communicationStrong project management skillsPreference for experience in IT services
