Together with the leading provider of municipal IT solutions, PROSOZ Herten GmbH, we are looking for an Information Security Officer (m/f/d) in Herten or remote.


PROSOZ is a complete provider, offering software and consulting services for municipalities and actively driving the topic of digitalization within the public sector.

This will enable future administrative processes to be carried out quickly and easily online.


Responsibilities:

  • You will design the ISMS from scratch and have full creative freedom in its implementation and optimization
  • You will prepare for ISO27001 certifications, including conducting or accompanying corresponding audits
  • You will act as the central point of contact for all matters related to information security and coordinate collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders (e.g. data protection officer)
  • You will conduct awareness measures, such as raising awareness for data protection measures, giving presentations or trainings, and thereby creating an understanding of the importance of information security

Profile:

  • You have several years of professional experience in the IT security field and therefore have basic knowledge of ISO 2700x, IT basic protection, and CRITIS, and ideally have gained initial experience in certification
  • You are a communication talent and know how to mediate between IT and departments as a liaison
  • You have experience in process management as well as in coordinating and conducting audits, tests, and exercises
