    Who We Are Looking For
    DHJJ seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Professional to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and playing a crucial role in coaching and fostering a growth culture within the firm.


    Responsibilities:

    Prospecting and Lead Generation :
    Identify and research potential clients, markets, and industries to generate new leads
    Utilize various channels, including existing networks, email outreach, networking events, and social media to create a robust pipeline of prospects
    Leverage CRM tools effectively to track and manage leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information


    Client Relationship Management :
    Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
    Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations to understand client needs and propose solutions that align with their objectives
    Coach and mentor staff in client relationship management, emphasizing their roles in relationship growth


    Strategic Planning:
    Collaborate with Principals, Managers, and the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for business growth and expansion
    Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation

    Sales and Revenue Generation :
    Drive the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals
    Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively communicating service value propositions and managing the sales cycle
    Actively contribute to enhancing and utilizing the CRM system to maximize sales efficiency

    Collaboration, Coaching, and Reporting :
    Work closely with Principals, Managers, and Practice Group Leaders to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies
    Provide coaching to staff in business development and sales skills, fostering a growth mindset
    Play a leading role in expanding the use of CRM inside the firm, emphasizing its significance as the main source of growth-related data
    Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to management, utilizing data to inform decision-making


    Required Skills:
    Effective verbal and written communication skills
    Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability
    Successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously
    Willingness to take initiative and find solutions
    Ability to perform successfully both on a team and independently
    Produce high-quality work under deadlines
    Excellent organizational and time management skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
    Proven track record in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within professional services or a related field
    Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    Proficiency in CRM, with a demonstrated passion for leveraging CRM systems to enhance business development
    Knowledge of public accounting is a plus
