- Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transport, and readiness to commute to schools within various counties
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both children and adults
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) certification
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support in managing oral health for all patients, maintaining a cooperative team spirit
- Confirm patient identity using name and date of birth before treatment and document verification
- Conduct oral health assessments, review medical history, and gather relevant oral health data
- Deliver oral hygiene services such as prophylaxis scaling, sealant application, and fluoride treatment per industry standards
- Assist the dentist as needed during procedures
- Offer oral health education and personalized advice to patients on oral care practices
- Record all dental services provided in patient charts
- Regular travel to school sites, with evenings, weekends, and summers off
