Job Description Evidence Based Intensive Home-Based TherapistLocation: 4629 Aicholtz Road Cincinnati Ohio Serves Clermont County.
Degree Required: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
Licensure Required: LPC, LSW, or MFT - Must be licensed in state of Ohio
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours) with flexible work hours
Evidenced-based Intensive Home-Based Therapist will receive training to become certified in Multidimensional Family Therapy.
The IHBT model targets youth between the ages of 12 and 19 who present with mental health challenges and other problems/risky behavior that could result in removal from the home. IHBT integrates trauma-informed and resilience-focused assessment, crisis response, individual and family psychotherapy, service and resource coordination, and rehabilitative skill development to keep families together. IHBT uses a home/community-based model of service delivery to reduce barriers that keep families from accessing services.
Therapists have small caseloads; work as a team; and have high flexibility to provide services at times convenient to the family. The average treatment occurs over approximately 5 to 6 months, with multiple therapist-family contacts occurring each week.
Salary: $42,000-$45,150
