    Job Title: Family Engagement Associate

    Job Description:

    JOB GOAL: As a Family Engagement Associate at LEAD Public Schools, your primary goal is to support recruitment, enrollment, and family engagement efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Enrollment and Family Engagement, contributing towards the successful on-boarding and engagement of students and families into the school community.

    • Primary Goal: Support recruitment, enrollment, and family engagement efforts for LEAD Public Schools.
    • Secondary Goal: Assist with network customer service initiatives, including activities to ensure student retention and parent satisfaction.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Student Recruitment/On-Boarding Support:
      • Collaborate with enrollment and community engagement teams to resolve enrollment issues and facilitate recruitment activities.
      • Understand and support recruitment processes to achieve enrollment targets.
      • Engage with feeder schools and community events to promote LEAD Public Schools.
      • Support communication efforts and volunteer recruitment for school initiatives.
    • Family Engagement:
      • Organize successful events for current and prospective students and families.
      • Support campus diversity initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities.
      • Facilitate family engagement through various events and information sessions.
      • Assist in hosting Family Leadership Team Meetings and documenting important information.
    • Community Engagement:
      • Collaborate to evaluate priority areas for engagement efforts and identify key community partners.
      • Develop relationships with partners to provide services based on student needs.
      • Represent LEAD at community events and serve as a liaison in the Nashville community.

      QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

      Education: High School Diploma or equivalency

      Required Skills:

      • Project management, organizational, and time management skills.
      • Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with parents and students.
      • Outstanding customer service skills with diverse populations.
      • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applications.

      Preferred Skills: Multilingual abilities, preferably in Spanish and/or Arabic.

      Preferred Experience: At least two years of experience in family recruitment, engagement, or related areas.

      • Other Qualifications:
      • Flexibility to lead and attend events on evenings and weekends.
      • Ability to build relationships and drive change effectively.
      • Self-starter with a belief in LEAD's mission to support student success.
