- Training Delivery: Conduct in-person and telephone training sessions, workshops, and seminars for HVAC field technicians.
- Technical Instruction: Provide hands-on demonstrations and technical instruction on HVAC equipment operation, installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Safety Training: Incorporate safety protocols, regulations, and best practices into training programs to ensure participants understand and adhere to safety guidelines while working with HVAC systems.
- Skill Assessment: Evaluate participants' knowledge, skills, and competencies through assessments, quizzes, practical demonstrations, and simulations to measure learning outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in HVAC systems to enhance training programs and ensure relevance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, evaluations, and feedback. Generate reports on training effectiveness, participant performance, and areas for improvement.
- Client Support: Provide technical support, guidance, and assistance to HVAC technicians seeking expertise in HVAC systems and technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, and industry partners to develop customized training solutions and address specific client needs.
- Professional Development: Pursue continuous learning and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in HVAC technologies, teaching methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Education, or related field.
- Professional certifications in HVAC systems, such as NATE (North American Technician Excellence), EPA 608, or others, preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, preferably in the HVAC field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in instructional design, training delivery techniques, and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism in training delivery.
- Work may involve travel to client houses, training facilities, conferences, and industry events.
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate training sessions scheduled during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
