Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd shift openings

Pay; $ $22.00/hour based on relevant experience, possibly more for the right candidate

Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic conducts production machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. The Maintenance Department is also responsible for maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines including motors, gears, and conveyor systems.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform maintenance on building and grounds including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing and grounds maintenance.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
