- Collaborating with Firm ESG Consulting lead, Director of Operations for Specialty Tax and Specialty Tax Lead to grow a new ESG tax practice.
- Providing service offerings around ESG Tax Consulting for Aprio's client base, including Energy Tax Credits, Investment Tax Credits, and strategic consulting
- Identifying opportunities and leading business development initiatives to grow this new practice area.
- Client management including writing proposals and completing pitches for new business
- Project and team management
- Researching and staying up to date on current events and issues, particularly legislation changes at the Federal and State levels, which includes attending trade shows
- Collaborating with other internal personnel on other related engagements
- Bachelor's degree, CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tax, M&A, Finance or Accounting
- Passion for ESG and ESG related issues
- Curious about solving ESG Tax Problems
- Tax Technical knowledge/or willingness to learn tax rules and regulations in ESG related areas
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to master new tasks quickly
- Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
