    The successful candidate will possess the ability to build strong relationships, understand stakeholder needs, and develop recommendations to drive a robust talent acquisition strategy for BSO staff.

    This role is for those that are passionate about the recruiting stage of the employee life cycle.

    Additionally, the ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with HR colleagues and members of the institution.

    About the Role


    The BSO Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment (counsel hiring managers, set recruitment strategies, source and interview candidates, lead debrief process, initiate background checks, create offers, and schedule onboarding process).

    The incumbent will also implement staffing strategies that align with corporate goals (attracting, developing, and retaining high performing talent).

    Required Education and Experience

    Accountabilities Associated with the Role

    Manage the entire recruitment process for the BSO, incl. sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating and hiring for entry level through Executive level positions.

    Implement staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool, incl. social media content that positions the BSO as an employer of choice.


    Maintain the Workday e-recruitment systems, ensuring most current information is available to candidates and to guarantee the best candidate experience.

    Create and develop metrics to track the effectiveness of the e-recruitment systems and share insight and recommend improvements.

    Work with HRIS Specialist to integrate all other sources of recruiting into Workday.

    Identify passive and active job seekers using full range of recruitment tactics and resources.

    Manage communication process with internal and external candidates, Talent and Equity colleagues, and the respective hiring business/client.

    Strategically network at all levels and foster relationships with candidates and organizations.

    Proactively evaluate and assess staffing needs of departments. Recommend organizational changes and strategies concerning the efficient utilization of headcount.

    Actively participate in forecasting and budget planning for each department at the BSO.

    Interface with hiring manager, finance counterpart and controller when forecasting and updating any recruitment related costs or headcount.

    Build and utilize a candidate pool for current and future positions.

    Negotiate all offers, incl. starting base and variable pay, relocation and bonuses as appropriate.

    Work with training specialist to develop trainings to deal with implicit bias in hiring.

    Coach hiring managers on interviewing and selection skills and techniques as well as counsel employees on career development.

    Manage vendor relationships and contractor process for both individual and bulk hiring needs for the assigned function.

    Assist in the development of tools/processes to streamline/automate staffing function.

    Ensures Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Office (EEO) guidelines are tracked and followed.


    Maintain and share knowledge with HR Team of current and forthcoming legislation, policies, practices and developments in Recruitment to ensure approach in each organization area reflects best practice and that company is compliant with legal and statutory requirements.

    Attend recruiting related events that include national organization events, regional recruitment events and on-campus recruiting.

    May serve as functional representative in strategic HR projects.

    Experience and Credentials

    Bachelor's degree in human resource management or similar fields of study.

    7 years of Human Resources experience including five years of recruiting experience.

    Proven track record to recruit candidates at all levels.

    Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems.

    Experience with Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter is highly desired.

    Ability to manage ongoing workload demands of planned and unplanned projects and requests.

    Ability to identify and solve problems through creativity and sound recruiting principles.

    Confident written and verbal communication style

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    Project/Process Management:
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

    Skills and Competencies

    Work in a collaborative setting with a strong senior leadership team.

    Exercise discretion working with extremely sensitive and confidential data of major importance where utmost integrity is required.

    Prioritize workflow and apply resources to maximize HR and organizational efficiency.
