Overview:

The Sales Representative U3 will need to meet or exceed service expectations while selling products and fulfilling route management objectives. This position requires a strong passion for sales and specific knowledge on effective selling techniques.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a daily sales call schedule on a predetermined route; collaborate with account representatives and supplier representatives to boost sales; seek new business opportunities within the route territory. Analyze account base, complete surveys, and ensure national account compliance.
  • Strategically plan on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to meet quotas and distribution goals, enhancing market share and customer service.
  • Attend mandatory sales meetings and brand kickoffs punctually.
  • Adhere to all company policies including credit, collections, and warehouse procedures.
  • Provide feedback on competitive market trends and offer valuable suggestions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' Sales experience.
  • Basic PC skills including MS Office and presentation software.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with auto insurance.
  • Results-oriented with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving skills.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
  • Reach overhead, squat, and bend.
  • Carry and lift moderate weights on a repetitive basis.
  • Drive and service assigned territory with frequent vehicle exits/entries.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods to perform duties.
