Daily Responsibilities
Design, develop and integrate ServiceNow applications using modern web technologies
Design custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, and custom tabs according to application requirements
Validate application code
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks

Perform complex no- to low- code configuration of ServiceNow such as catalog items, workflows, form views, choice lists, dashboards, portal, etc.

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT discipline
Additional four years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree

Preferred:
Certifications

ServiceNow Certified Applications Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow CIS IT Service Management or other similar ServiceNow certification


Required:
Experience

At least five years of experience with ServiceNow development including process automation (orchestration), client scripts, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, data imports, custom apps, and web services integration (SOAP, REST)
At least four years of experience with Web development, including X- HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular
At least four years or more of the following back-end technologies: PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion including developing and maintaining integrations with ServiceNow
Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of ServiceNow solutions
Experience applying Agile methodology to elicit requirements and process flows for federal customers using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process reviews, and task and workflow analysis
