UH Lakewood Medical Center is located between Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Missouri, offering residents of Eastern Jackson County access to a modern community hospital with a continuum of outpatient services designed to meet the needs of families. Job Description
Under the direction of the EVS Director, will be responsible for maintaining dispatching, coordinating and ensuring Patient Transportation and Environmental Services needs are available to patients, visitors and staff. Utilizes available systems both manual and electronic to manage the workflow relative to Patient Transportation and Environmental Services through work order assignment and follow up on all applicable requests. Performs standard and advanced clerical duties using extensive knowledge of department policies and procedures and a high level of technical skills, this includes, but is not limited to running performance reports, processing billing, maintaining department communications.
