    Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is seeking a **full-time Veterinary Technician Oncology Lead** to join their team. As the **Lead Veterinary Technician**, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and care to clients and patients.     **About the role:**
    The Lead Veterinary Technician will be responsible for overseeing the technical and administrative aspects of the oncology department. This position requires effective leadership skills, strong communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

    • Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff
    • Develop constructive working relationships across the hospital
    • Participate in training procedures for client care staff
    • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
    • Maintain adequate staffing levels for efficient service

    **Requirements:**
    - Credentialed veterinary technician or VTS preferred
    - 2-3 years of clinical veterinary oncology experience
    - 1+ years of supervisory experience
    - Effective leadership qualities
    - Ability to promote effective communication
    - Professionalism in all interactions
    - Ability to lead by example

    **Physical Requirements:**
    - Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
    - Stand for up to 9 hours per day

    **Wage Ranges:**
    **Veterinary Assistant:** $18 - $23 per hour
    **Veterinary Technician:** $25 - $35 per hour
    **Veterinary Technician Specialist:** $31 - $40 per hour
