We are currently seeking a dedicated colleague to join our finance team as a Finance Employee/Accounts Payable Accountant at our location in Ludwigshafen am Rhein.

Responsibilities:

Conducting ongoing bookkeeping and reviewing and posting invoices to accounts payable
Reconciling and clarifying accounts (accounts payable)
Creating and maintaining creditor accounts
Handling invoice complaints
Assisting with the creation of liquidity plans
Responsible for accounts receivable management
Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Internal and external contact for accounts payable
Preparing and submitting Intrastat reports for imports
Internal and external contact for Intrastat
Participating in change processes
Contact person for our location in Almere (Netherlands)
Preparing and compiling overviews in the area of financial accounting

Qualifications:

Successfully completed studies, preferably with a focus on business administration or finance, or commercial training
Ideally, professional experience in the field of accounting and finance
Ideally completed further training, e.g. as a financial or balance sheet accountant
Indepth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Basic knowledge of business processes
Good knowledge of SAP
Proficient in MS Office
Confident and conscientious handling
