In the field of chronic wound care, we currently treat 25 clients in our outpatient service in Greenville, IA.

Across all locations, we are looking for a full-time specialist in wound care as a nursing expert to join our 3 outpatient facilities as soon as possible.


Responsibilities:

  • You will take on the crosslocation leadership for the department of chronic wound care
  • You will be responsible for assessing, documenting, and treating chronic wounds
  • Implementation of active planning and execution of outpatient nursing care wound care according to the care plan, taking into account the individual needs of patients
  • You regularly communicate with treating physicians to inform them about the current wound status and make therapy recommendations
  • Building networks with other professional groups to ensure comprehensive wound care
  • Conducting training and further education in wound management

Qualifications:

  • A threeyear nursing education as a registered nurse or geriatric nurse
  • Specific additional qualification for the treatment of chronic and difficulttoheal wounds (wound manager / wound expert) of at least 168 teaching units
  • Alternatively, you have an additional qualification of at least 84 teaching units and are willing to obtain the necessary qualification
  • Comprehensive experience in the field of local therapy, wound treatment process, debridement, as well as wound treatment products and their application methods
  • Class B driver's license
