Description

As a process developer for industrial image processing, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, commissioning, and validation of partially and fully automated measuring and testing devices in Elmwood Park.

As a point of contact for your projects, you will be a member of a project team from the initial idea to series maturity, working closely with our tool design and external suppliers.

Your responsibilities will also include creating camera applications and machine capability analyses in accordance with drawings, as well as exchanging ideas with colleagues from the design and quality management departments.

You will have access to a well-equipped testing laboratory to test and validate new technologies and measurement methods.

We are looking for colleagues who are enthusiastic and motivated about discovering new technologies to keep our technology at the highest level.

Your tasks will include:

Validating and testing new technologies in image processing
Conceptualizing measuring and testing devices
Designing image processing hardware based on technical calculations
Independently programming and commissioning image processing (internally and at external suppliers)
Creating feasibility studies and machine capability proofs
Participating in FMEAs
Relocating testing equipment to foreign manufacturing sites
Supporting Rosenberger manufacturing sites in Elmwood Park and abroad
Building and testing prototypes in a wellequipped testing laboratory

Your profile:

Completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics, or further education as an electrical engineering or mechatronics technician or master with relevant work experience
Good German and English skills, both
