The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a Business Analyst to our Financial Shared Service Center team in Ridgeland, MS.

As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide analysis of business and user needs, provide data leadership to team members and the organization, and implement data driven solutions.

What you'll be doing:

Leading or participating in multiple projects, including by completing or updating project documentation, managing project scope, and ensuring efficient delivery of project tasks and milestones.

Providing and supporting the implementation of business solutions, including by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and by identifying business needs and improvement opportunities.

You will have worked in a team support role supporting function or process leaders to obtain and use data to support their data needs and project outcomesYou will have individual contributor capacity and strong collaboration skills demonstrated in a remote and in-office settingReviewing current business processes, operation metrics, and feedback on issues to support high impact improvement opportunities.

Training and mentoring team members on the use of continuous improvement methodologiesWhat we're looking for:

Must-haves:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in GL categorization, and account mapping for programs and automation
One to three years' experience in a relevant role including account reconciliation, forecasting and cost projections
Data modeling, budget analysis and review and past experience with results tracking
Prior experience with data analysis and strong user Microsoft Power BI application
Ability to apply business data to support key effort such as function and user testing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalNice-to-haves:

Prior ERP experience or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains and Statz) and associated reporting tools, i.e. Management Reporter, SmartView
Experience with Smartsheet suite is preferred
Ability to support users and train in medium to advanced Excel features including pivot tables, index match and x look-up
Prior experience with systems such as; Itrade EMP or Spend, CBORD, Kronos and Sharepoint use are desirable
Experience in GL categorization, and account mapping for programs and automation
