    H.O.P.E. Counseling & Associates, LLC was founded in 2015 with the desire to help individuals, couples, and families bring about change through empowerment and education. H.O.P.E. is contracted with the state of Indiana and Department of Child Services to provide a variety of services to individuals and families working on reunification or preservation of the family unit.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role (onsite/remote) located in and outside of the Indianapolis, IN area for a Family Support Specialist at H.O.P.E. COUNSELING & ASSOCIATES LLC. As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing case management services to families with complex needs, providing clinical interventions, coordinating with community resources, and engaging in crisis intervention. You will work as part of a team to provide comprehensive wrap-around services and reduce barriers to accessing needed resources.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a human related services field
    • Other related degrees which may qualify are Criminal Justice, Nursing, Psychiatry, Sociology, and Special Education
    • Minimum of two years of experience working with children, youth, and families
    • Demonstrated knowledge of child development and experience working with families with complex needs
    • Ability to provide case management services, including crisis intervention and coordination with community resources
    • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
    • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and use ethical judgement when working with clients and colleagues
