    Prioritized Must Have Skills for the

    Controls Engineer:
    #1. 2 years experience in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces, with Siemens experience a plus (will consider exceptional candidate with Allen Bradley experience)#2. Experience in a continuous process manufacturing facility

    Responsibilities of the

    Controls Engineer:
    Perform job duties in compliance with site safety rules, with the intent of supporting an injury-free work environment. Assist the plant manager with the implementation of the site safety systems. Notify the plant manager of any safety systems malfunctions or violations. Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the site quality management system through personal accountability, systems integration, and risk-based thinking.

    Abide by job related procedures, work instructions and other guidelines designed to help ensure the quality of the finished product.

    Provide support with IT functions in multiple areas, including Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, automation, and desktop networksPerform various integration tasks, such as SCADA development, monitoring and improving processes, and collecting dataUse design drawings, electrical schematics, and panel layouts to analyze and maintain company systemsManage multiple automation projects, incorporating the following:
    Review project documentationCommunicate effectively with all levels in the organizationDevelop an understanding of the process being controlled and the requirements for completionCreate sequences of operationsDirect co-workers and contractors as necessaryHelp analyze downtime as it relates to IT activities and functions and develop corrective action to improve performanceSupport IT functions in server and desktop hardware and software supportPerform any other tasks assigned by the Information Technology ManagerSupport the companys quality and safety initiativesRequirements of the

    Controls Engineer:2 years experience in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces, with Siemens experience a plus (will consider exceptional candidate with Allen Bradley experience)


    Bachelors degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited UniversityExperience in a continuous process manufacturing facility a plus, but not requiredProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishOther Key Requirements:100% in officeNo sponsorship or Visa holders.
