Overview

Allied Eagle Supply, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, is seeking a talented Equipment Service Technician to join our Operations team in Detroit, MI. We are currently searching for an Equipment Mechanic/Technician for commercial cleaning and packaging equipment for customers in the metro Detroit area. Service work is performed on-site.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with some overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Provide service, repair, and preventative maintenance of commercial cleaning equipment
Travel to service customers in Detroit Metro Michigan area - Company vehicle and fuel card provided
Interact with customers professionally and courteously
Prioritize service calls for efficient time and resource management
Ensure operational safety functions of serviced equipment
Maintain company property and inventory in good condition
Prepare service documents, Service Repair Orders/Warranty, and Sales Orders
Service various types of equipment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree or Certificate from a technical trade school preferred
Prior experience in equipment service or maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Driver's license and a good Motor Vehicle Record required
Self-motivated with a focus on results
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Accountability for continuous learning
Team player with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
