Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is part of the senior leadership team in our organization and is responsible for the organization's financial health and activities.
The CFO implements policies and procedures to ensure the proper accounting, and strategic use, of an organization's funds and reports directly to the CEO.
The CFO will lead and direct the fiscal department while providing guidance to the CEO and board for financial strategies and planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)
10 yrs. of experience in fiscal/accounting management
5 yrs. of supervisory experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to use accounting systems to their full potential
Time Mgmt. Skills
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Leadership Skills
Strong Analysis and forecasting skills
Ability to build rapport with other leaders and outside parties
GAAP Knowledge
Risk Mgmt. Experience/knowledge
Job Duties:
Adhere to agency policies and procedures
Establish financial perational strategies by evaluating tends
Develop the financial well-being of the organization
Maintain the accounting database
Monitor Financial performance by measuring and analyzing results
Updating job knowledge regularly through educational opportunities and reading
Accomplish the financial and organizational mission
Maximize the return on invested funds
Attend Board and Director meetings
Supervise Fiscal Dept. Staffs
Work closely with the CEO and Board to build long-term financial plans
