    Description

    As a Network Security Engineering Manager, your main focus is on supervising the security infrastructure, leading a team of network security engineers, and guaranteeing the efficiency of network security protocols. It involves tasks such as risk management, formulating policies, and actively participating in enterprise-wide changes. Effective communication and collaboration with diverse technology stakeholders are vital in this position.

    **This is a Hybrid role 3X a week in the Dallas office. This is a company wide policy and we cannot be flexible with any changes. Also, No C2C or H1B VISA sponsorship can be offered for this role**

    Strategy

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise a team of network security engineers.
    • Direct and escalate issues related to network security technologies: Zscaler, Checkpoint, Akamai, Neustar, Proofpoint.
    • Work cross functionally to test and learn emerging technologies.
    • Zscaler deployment experience a plus.
    • Improve network operating model between technology and security teams.
    • Establish mechanisms for continuous monitoring and improvement of network security.
    • Provides insights on risks based on broad experience.
    • Ensure that team members consistently deliver new technological solutions and capabilities in line with the established roadmaps, meeting the predetermined objectives and expectations.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews and continuous improvement processes
    • Stay aware of emerging threats and technologies.

    Leadership Responsibilities

    • Team/Trust Building-Leading and adding to a strong team of Network Security Engineers.
    • Process efficiency
    • Thorough understanding of network and network security engineering/operations

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited University in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or other relevant Technology Degrees and/or experience
    • 10 years of experience in network technology and proficiency
    • 8 years of experience in network security protocol and technology experience
    • 6 years of experience in leading large, complex/critical technology projects
    • 5 years of experience in influencing strategy for large organizations
    • 5 years of experience in managing technical teams
    • 5 years of experience in leading and inspiring others
    • Coming from an Enterprise organization. Bonus if it is from an Enterprise Financial Services Firm.
