    Salary: $120K-$130K

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a Direct-Hire, Hybrid position in Dallas, TX. This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Director of IT, is geared towards fortifying our client's security infrastructure. The successful candidate will showcase mastery in leveraging modern cybersecurity tools, contributing significantly to policy development, and ensuring unwavering compliance with industry standards, especially in anticipation of a SOC 2 audit.

    The multifaceted responsibilities span various buzzworthy domains, including comprehensive vulnerability management utilizing for exhaustive scanning and penetration testing. The Cybersecurity Engineer will analyze results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and engage in seamless collaboration with IT teams to implement highly effective remediation strategies. Additionally, the role encompasses the administration and real-time monitoring of LogRhythm Axon for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), ensuring rapid analysis of security events and the expeditious resolution of incidents.

    Further, the Cybersecurity Engineer will showcase prowess in managing and optimizing SentinelOne to deliver advanced endpoint protection, staying abreast of emerging threats, and dynamically adjusting security measures accordingly. Overseeing KnowBe4 for end user security awareness training, implementing ongoing training programs, and actively contributing to the development and enhancement of security policies, procedures, and standards underscore the commitment to compliance, particularly in preparation for SOC 2 audits. Collaboration with internal teams to implement security controls aligned with compliance frameworks and active participation in incident response activities, including the application of improvements based on lessons learned, solidify this role as a beacon of comprehensive cybersecurity expertise within the organization.

    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ ​​years in the following skill sets...Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on vulnerability management, SIEM, NGAV, end user training, and compliance.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with , LogRhythm Axon, SentinelOne, KnowBe4, and Drata.
    • Familiarity with SOC 2 requirements and experience preparing for audits.
    • Previous experinece working in an AWS environment
    • Experience in policy development and enforcement.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • HIGHLY DESIRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Prior exerience as a Network Analyst, Admin, or Engineer
