    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Development Manager to join Income Access, a subsidiary of Paysafe.

    What you'll be doing:

    As a Software Development Manager, you will lead the development of key components of our platform. You will have a fabulous opportunity to influence engineering practices, design and technical architecture, user experience by continuously delivering an innovative platform that will be used to enable affiliates and merchants globally.

    You will be responsible for leading a team of developers through the design, development, testing and deployment of key features of the platform.

    You have the experience of building cloud applications, with extensive knowledge of development techniques and best practices for building large-scale platforms and web applications. You are a leader with modern technical expertise, proven achievements and a passion for managing developers in an agile environment. You have kept your architectural expertise up to date and you have excellent project management and communication skills.

    People Manager:
    • Enable and empower people to do their best work in an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation and fosters development and learning.
    • Translate the company's strategic vision, align group's work, and help individuals understand their impact on Income Access' success.
    • Assess direct reports' performance and partner on career planning.
    • Collaborate and be a catalyst, breaking down complex problems into simple solutions and leading through change.
    Manager Software Engineering:
    • Work collaboratively as part of a software development team producing software that advances our core mission.
    • Eagerly learn and apply new cutting-edge technologies.
    • Contribute to our engineering culture and ever-improving concept of engineering best practices.
    • Oversee a team totaling 7-13 engineers by guiding/mentoring team members.
    • Promote engineering best practices, agile maturity, monitor team performance and gather team metrics.
    • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
    • Guiding the team on how to get the most of out self organization
    • Guiding the team on self organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
    • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
    • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
    • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
    • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
    • Follow up on the team advancement on different projects.
    • Report team advancement in a comprehensive and timely fashion.
    Excellence in execution - Individual & Team Performance:
    • Ensure that team utilization is efficient, appropriate, and team members are efficient and that the work they have allows them to further develop a wide variety of skills and abilities while ensuring strategic and operational business goals are fulfilled.
    • Contribute to program/ product planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery; taking responsibility and accountability for the Software Engineering team deliveries.
    • Risk and Issues Management - identify issues/ events that may impact resources, schedule, budget, scope and/ or delivery. Escalate risks and issues to appropriate parties in a timely manner and provide recommendations on problem-solving.
    Simplicity, Quality, & Innovation:
    • Continuous Improvement - demonstrate a continuous improvement philosophy identifying areas for improvement including process innovation, tooling, etc. in pursuit of simplicity, quality and innovation.
    To be successful you need to have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field and/or
    • 5+ years comparable Industry experience
    • Expert understanding of project tracking and Software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum/SAFe/Test Driven Development).
    • Ability to work under short deadlines and co-ordinate development schedules and project deliverables.
    • Experience leading and directing a multi-disciplined software development team.
    • Experience with driving the teams and enable them to work in a cloud environment, AWS, Azure, etc.
    • Experience with at least one OOP Language, micro-services, serverless and container technologies such as Docker.
    • Experience working with JVM-based languages such as Java and/or Web stack technologies such as HTML/CSS, Javascript, Typescript and NodeJS.
    • Good English professional communication skills.
