Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Surgery Scheduler
An opportunity to work at one of Southern California's largest and fastest growing Orthopedic clinics
Location: Laguna Hills, CA
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: $ $25.00/hr - depending on experience
Job Details:
This individual will be scheduling 2-3 providers.
Receives about 20 surgery tasks a day and is expected to call within hours
Will be scheduling surgery, Pre-Ops and Post Ops
Responsible for obtaining authorizations prior to procedure
Send scheduling sheet to hospital or surgical center
Will also handle scheduling regular appointment visits in the call center when needed.
Send messages to patients via text message, e-mail, and phone calls.
Maintain professional and timely communication with Physicians to manage their surgery schedules
Will occasionally help cover for the Telephone/PBX Operator
Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
2-3 years of exp in surgery scheduling
Ortho is a big plus (understanding body parts and procedures)
Submitting Auth through insurance portals
Familiar with managing schedules and sending orders to PCP offices
