Job Title:
Medical Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler
We are seeking a very friendly, organized, and professional Medical Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for them.

You will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and ensuring the smooth running of the front desk area.

FLUENT SPANISH IS A REQUIREMENT.


Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, transfer calls and take messages as required
• Schedule patient appointments with accuracy and efficiency
• Verify patient insurance information and explain insurance benefits
• Collect and process patient payments
• Maintain patient records and keep them uptodate
• Keep front desk area clean and organized
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or surgery scheduler preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• 1 Saturday a month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (preferred)

From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
