- Provide a seamless check-in process for guests by having check in information ready in advance, collecting any payments and explaining the parks operational characteristics and changes that may impact the guest experience.
- Assist future guests with reservations via phone and email as we as respond to general inquiries about the park.
- Follow procedures for collecting and handling currency.
- Monitor campground and storage entrance gates.
- Assist in enforcing all safety rules in and around the park, contacting security and law enforcement as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of general park information and the area in order to answer guest questions and offer local recommendations for inquiries related to RV repair shops, grocery stores and other services.
- Build a high level of proficiency with the reservation system.

Located just 3 minutes from Lake George and Lake George Village, Lake George Camping Village offers campers an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, while having some of the comforts of home. Our rustic mountain setting provides ample privacy to relax and enjoy life. Whether it's swimming in our heated pools, watching an outdoor movie, or roasting marshmallows around a campfire, Lake George Camping Village has something to offer everyone 2023 marks our 50th year in operation.
About the Job:
We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of Guest Service Representative. This position fulfills a variety of customer service needs in support of the campground successful operation. Reporting to the Property Manager, this individual works closely with maintenance, groundskeeping, and other staff to provide the park's guest with the most enjoyable experience. As the face of the park, it is important that our Guest Service Representative treats all guests with kindness, empathy, and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
A strong sense of passion, integrity, honesty and personal responsibility. Great interacting with people, motivated and dedicated to serving customers. 1 to 2 years of customer service experience | Excellent written and verbal communication skills | Good time management and organizational skills | Patience and good listening skills | High school Diploma or GED
