    Position Overview

    The Benefits Manager role involves managing all health and welfare benefits programs within the organization. The primary responsibilities include developing a comprehensive benefits package that meets the needs of both the company and its employees. The role requires ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company objectives, staying informed about industry changes, and maintaining effective communication channels.

    Key Responsibilities of the Benefits Manager:
    • Developing and overseeing employee benefits package, including health, life, disability, and wellness plans.
    • Ensuring adherence to laws and regulations.
    • Building relationships with external vendors and providers to enhance cost efficiency.
    • Offering guidance on benefits enrollment and utilization.
    • Managing day-to-day benefits administration tasks, such as billing, enrollment, and adjustments.
    • Creating and distributing employee communications regarding benefits.
    • Monitoring employee eligibility according to company guidelines.
    • Handling inquiries, diagnosing problems, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
    • Presenting benefits-related data and trends to senior management.
    Qualifications and Requirements for the Benefits Manager:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
    • At least five years of relevant experience in benefits management.
    • A thorough understanding of employee benefits programs.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
