- Focused on imports/exports, customs brokerage and freight forwarding.
- Review and verify trade and sale execution documents for compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements in all documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and protected information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the documentation collection and execute on the compliance process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on compliance-related activities, trends, and emerging risks.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-6 years of experience in Compliance, HR, Agriculture or related field.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Experience working with sensitive and protected information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for phone and email correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with global trade, agribusiness regulations and customs brokerage.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of compliance software or systems.
- Certifications in compliance or related fields.
