    Job Description

    AECOM is in search of skilled Environmental Compliance Specialists to join our EHS + Air practice in the Environment Business Line. In this role, you'll focus on supporting clients with their environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance requirements across various sectors. This unique position can be based in Fort Collins, CO, Cincinnati, OH, or Minneapolis, MN.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Oversee multiple environmental permitting and compliance projects related to air quality, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and more
    • Conduct environmental assessments and EHS compliance audits
    • Lead project teams in environmental compliance activities
    • Manage projects from start to finish, including financial and contract management

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in a related field such as environmental engineering or environmental science
    • 6 years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance
    • Valid U.S Drivers license

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting or as an EHS Manager
    • Experience with health & safety regulatory compliance
    • Ability to travel regionally and nationally for project needs
    • Background in business development for environmental contracts
    • Comfort working independently in a dynamic environment
    • Professional certification in relevant field
    • Experience with ISO 14001
