    We are currently looking for a Controls Engineer in Austin, TX. This role involves providing team leadership to deliver automation systems across various industries.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards either independently or as a team leader
    • Design and implement industrial networks to connect control system components and instrumentation using various protocols
    • Manage project responsibilities including developing execution plans, budgeting, and ensuring project efficiency and profitability
    • Utilize diverse engineering skills to work independently, act as a technical lead, and guide junior team members

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education
    Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science

    Experience

    • Over 10 years of experience in various industries such as Semiconductor, EV, Life Sciences, Building Automation, and Food and Beverage
    • Proficiency in PLC hardware/software platforms like Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Schneider
    • Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware ArchestrA System Platform, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, and Siemens
    • Previous involvement in system design, testing, startup, and commissioning
    • Technical writing skills and experience leading engineering teams
    • Professional references and the ability to travel up to 25%

    Physical Demands of Position:
    Seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, mounting/dismounting equipment, pushing, and pulling

    Working Environment:
    Standard and on-site office environments, exposure to diverse industrial settings, frequent computer and office equipment usage
