We are currently seeking a

Head of Medical Controlling (m/f/x)

for the Evangelisches Amalie Sieveking Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN, in full-time or part-time starting immediately.

The
Evangelisches Amalie Sieveking Hospital, a facility of the Immanuel Albertinen Diakonie in Hamburg-Volksdorf, is an academic teaching hospital of the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg and provides care for 40,000 patients annually with 341 beds.

Your responsibilities:

Independent management of the medical controlling department
Maintenance and further development of a legally compliant and highquality documentation and coding system
Design and further development of MD management
Processing of inquiries from payers, preparation of legal cases, and review of MD expert opinions
Support and consultation of management in all coding and revenue assurance matters

Your qualifications:

Completed university degree and ideally several years of professional experience in the clinical field
Experience in leading medical controlling teams is desirable
Excellent knowledge of the DRG reimbursement system and related regulations, as well as relevant experience with MD
Proficient in using coding, documentation, and analysis programs, as well as Microsoft Office products and hospital information systems
Strong communication skills and assertiveness, while maintaining a respectful and supportive leadership style
