The Youth Welfare Center Dominikus Savio in Pfaffendorf, under the sponsorship of the German Province of the Salesians of Don Bosco, offers a diverse range of services for disadvantaged children and adolescents with various challenges.

These include therapeutic residential groups, a special education support center for grades 1-9, a special education and therapeutic day care center, and a school preparation facility.

The close cooperation between the school and the residential and semi-residential services allows for a holistic support of the children and adolescents.

We are currently seeking
Pedagogical Staff (m/f/d) for our
specialized residential services (therapeutic residential groups) at our Pfaffendorf location.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialized support for the inclusion of an individual client
  • Supporting and motivating a young boy in managing his daily life, accompanying him to appointments and tasks
  • Creating individual leisure activities
  • Collaborating with the specialist team and residential staff to develop personalized activation, participation, and integration programs with the goal of empowering the youth to lead a responsible and selfdetermined life
  • Documenting services and activities using standardized templates

Requirements:

  • Completed pedagogical or social education, a degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Special Education, or a comparable qualification
  • Demonstrated commitment to pedagogical work and enjoyment in working with young people
  • Willingness to work constructively and interdisciplinarily in a team
