We are NuHealth We want to make culturally sensitive health care more affordable and more accessible here on Long Island. Located in East Meadow,
Nassau University Medical Center is the only public safety net hospital and community health care center in Nassau County. We are a Level I Trauma Center and a 530-bed teaching hospital.

We are seeking a well-qualified
Statistician.

In this position you will:

Participate in preparing analytical summaries, interpretations, and reports.
Participate in statistical work, such as tests of reliability and statistical significance, multiple and partial correlations, and sampling analyses.
Participate in designing tables, graphs, and charts for collecting, classifying, and evaluating tabulated data utilizing a computer.
Attend departmental and other meetings as required.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics, including or supplemented by courses in computer science, from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university;

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with major course work in Mathematics, including or supplemented by courses in statistics and/or computer science and one year of satisfactory experience in the collection, summarization, analysis, and presentation of statistical data using computers;

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university and two years of satisfactory experience in the collection, summarization, analysis, and presentation of statistical data using computers.

The salary for this job is $91,225/year and includes medical, dental, life insurance, NYS Pension Plan and other excellent benefits. You must have lived in Nassau County, NY for one year prior to hire. This job is 100% onsite.
