We have a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented
Human Resources Clerk. You must reside in Nassau County.
Specifically, you will:
- Maintain human resources records in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations
- Process, prepare and submit required Civil Service and other documents and reports
- Assist in preparing and checking forms for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to inquiries related to Civil Service rules and regulations, examination procedures, retirement system, wages and salaries, and related matters.
- Type various documents and performs such clerical work as mailing, filing etc.
- Compiles data for special projects and or reports
We require:
- High School Diploma,
AND
- Two years of satisfactory office clerical experience, including one year working with human resources forms and records.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy including MS Suite (Word/Excel) and use of office equipment
- Nassau County residents only
- You will need to take the related Nassau County Civil Service exam whenever it is announced.
Pay:
$41,833.00 per year
