- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Hours: Full-Time
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs, both in inclusive classroom settings and in specialized intervention settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and accommodations.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and technologies to support student learning and engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, and adjust instruction as needed to ensure that all students are making meaningful progress toward their goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Colorado teaching license with endorsement in Special Education.
- Previous experience working with elementary school students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
