    Job Description
    Excel Plumbing Services, Inc.

    is looking for Construction Plumbers to support their fast growing plumbing construction operation Excel focuses on new construction and remodels of luxury hotels and restaurants and is in need of skilled, detail-oriented workers to join their team of professionals.

    Job sites are located throughout South Florida.

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications
    • Ability to install complete plumbing systems such as rainwater, sanitary, domestic water, gas systems, Etc.
    • Partner with general contractors from other trades to coordinate job flow
    • Identify and troubleshoot problems
    • Regularly communicate with management on job progress
    • Prepare material take offs
    • Communicate with and guide inspectors through job sites during inspections
    • Work independently and with minimal supervision
    • Any reasonable task provided by supervisors or management
    • Be able to project a positive image on behalf of the company

    Qualifications:

    • Current, valid authorization to work in the US
    • At least 5 years of previous experience in construction plumbing
    • Ability to read plans
    • Must have knowledge of all phases of construction from rough to final
    • Knowledge of current Florida Plumbing Code
    • OSHA 10 Hour, preferred
    • Valid Driver's License (if assigned a company vehicle)

    Physical Requirements may include:

    • Must be able to frequently lift/carry 50 lbs. throughout the work day
    • Must be able to stand or kneel for extended periods
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
    • Must be able to work within tight or confined spaces (within reason)


    You must have reliable transportation to and from work and be flexible to occasionally work weekends or in the afternoon.
