- Assist with various tasks on construction sites, including but not limited to, site preparation, demolition, excavation, and cleanup.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
- Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and concrete work under the supervision of experienced professionals.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your coworkers.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding, as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Previous experience working in the construction industry preferred.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of construction techniques and methods.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.
