Direct the daily operation of a service department made up of a group of specialty boiler Technicians. Coordinate company technical resources to ensure appropriate solutions are offered. Monitor order status to ensure customer satisfaction. We are a 24/7 customer driven operation.
**Essential Functions ...**
This is a direct customer facing position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to multi task and respond to customers emergencies.
Manage 10+ employees
Manager 2 or more locations
Technical sales and business development of opportunities with new and existing customers.
Proposal generation based upon customer needs.
Maintain daily schedule including future jobs
Review manpower requirements on a regular basis
Act as an initial technical resource for technicians in the field and coordinate escalated responses
Schedule training for employees on an as needed basis
Moderate local travel, generally by vehicle
Position requires the constant and consistent exercise of intellect, judgment, and ability commensurate with supervisor positions in similar industries or situations.
Position requires regular exercise of problem solving and policy or procedure interpretation skills.
Ensure duties and company projects are accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Adhere to company policies.

Work requires computer proficiency, moderate typing speed and a high data input accuracy level. Work involves fairly light and simple types of physical exertion. Work environment may include dusty and hot locations.

Normal office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Customer visits may include exposure to site specific hazards and safety requirements.
**Do You Qualify ...**
**Education:**
A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A Bachelors Degree in Business or Liberal Arts is preferred. Five years experience in a similar industrial/technical position may be substituted.
**Experience:**
Computer competency including Outlook, Word, Excel required This position requires at least five years experience in a similar industrial/technical position.
