- Learn how to apply agronomy products to customer's fields including dry and liquid fertilizer, chemicals, NH3, and lime.
- Learn and understand the chemistry of the chemicals used with application.
- Assist with outbound and inbound agronomy products.
- Learn how to maintain & record maintenance of application equipment, tending equipment, NH3 equipment, pickups and side dress units.
- Learn and understand how to record daily application logs.
- Assist with measurement of inventory of dry and liquid fertilizers, NH3, lime, and chemicals.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
- Learn and understand how to operate dry fertilizer plants, chemical containment buildings, and NH3 plants.
- Learn how to maintain and understand records of chemical repackaging agreements and shuttle record keeping.
- Understand and perform entries in RCI CAP and PM programs.
- Understand customer licensing requirements for restricted-use pesticides.
- Understand the capabilities and limitations of equipment (floaters, rogators, tool bars, etc.).
- Champion of safety compliance throughout organization.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training.
- Commercial pesticide applicators license with 1A, 1B, 1C endorsements or able to obtain one.
- Must have a valid CDL driver's license with air brake, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements or be able to obtain one.
